Welcome to Grand Lake Township, established in 1895 with over 2700 residents.  You may often hear us called "Twig," as our community focal point is on the corner of Highway 53 and Industrial Road.  As we are a "branch of Duluth" as historically noted, only those residents with a P.O. Box at the Twig Store get a Twig address, otherwise the residents have a Saginaw or Duluth address.  We welcome you and hope this website serves your needs. 

On May 11, 2010 the residents of Grand Lake voted to approve bonding to fund both the Fire Hall & Community Center/Town Office Additions and Upgrades; construction was completed in June 2012.
